Many years ago my sister told me about a fantastic book she read. Being "new" in the United states we of course started reading english books. It was "Butterfly". I also bought "Stars" and since then I read these books many times again. Back in Germany I just found "Private Entrance" in German and I read it in 2 days. I think they are great - my english is not good enough anymore to express my graditude - Thank you! Bye the way: I just ordered the books for my coworker.... Greetings from Germany Ina Schneider

Your research is impecable and your story telling is gripping. Please don't stop writing! You have a new fan in St. Louis! Looking forward to your next book.

Picked up the book The Dreaming at a garage sale. Loved it. Wondering if there will be a sequel as the other person just before me is. Is there one and if so what is the title? Also do you have someone who helps with your research? Found the information about the aborigines fascinating. Thank you.

I have just finished"The Dreaming" and loved it. My problem is that there was so much left unfinished at the end that it makes me think there must be a "book two" Please tell me there is, and what the title is. Thanks!

Dear Barbara,
Many thanks for your "Butterfly-Trilogy". I just love it and have to read it every year again. Is there a chance that this great trilogy will be available as audio books some day soon? I'm convinced, it would be a success!
Best regards, Claudia

Dear Bararbara,
At first i have to say sorry, cause my english isn't very well. I'll try to do my best ;-)
I had reed, if i remenber right, 9 of you books. Everyone is so much impressiv, feels like reality, when i reed. (I think my english is more horrible, then i know ;-) )
Okay The Book i realy love at most is "Der Fluch der Schriftrollen" ( google translator says: "The curse of the scrolls" ) I reed it 4 times (and i'm realy sure that i'll reed it a 5th and a 6th time ;-) )
I have 10 of your books. My dream is to someday have it all. But I do not have much money, so it takes time until I can buy the other too. In one wish, I'm not sure if you can buy it at all. I wish that I would have an autograph from you, maybe a bookmark with your signature. That's why I wanted to ask you, can you do that? Would you send me an autograph?
with many kind regards and full of wonderful expectations on your other books your fan Ute
( To send a mail via contact isn't possible, so i try to get contace here)

Greetings, We have read Green city of the Sun several times and enjoy it more each time. Do you have any other books with an African setting?
Living in Liberia it is fun to read about everyday events or concepts.

I just read The Serpent and the Staff and I must say I just loved it!! You brought history to life and made it seem so real and modern day as if I was reading about people today, and not three thousand years ago. I don't know how you do it Ms Wood, but I love your books and you transport me to another world. This was the first book of yours I read and I can't wait to read more. Thank you so much.

I have just read Green City in the Sun. I lived and worked in Kenya twice, once was in the late 1980s. I found your book beautiful in the physical descriptions and the relationships you explored were haunting. I enjoyed the way the novel spanned different generations and was based on factual history however difficult the times were. You must have met some people with amazing stories to tell as you did your research.
